Psychiatric Research Unit ensures that all psychiatry units have the opportunity to initiate research and it supports three professional networks for the region´s psychiatry researchers. The research unit carries out transdiagnostic non-pharmacological intervention research at all stages, and develops and tests digital interventions and psychiatric skills training modules in medical, psychological and nursing disciplines.
Psychiatric Research Unit includes the Psychiatry Research Support Unit, three cross-cutting centers – Center for Research in Relationships and De-escalation, Center for Evidence-based Psychiatry and Center for Research in Personality Disorders, as well as the Theme-Based Collaboration for anxiety, PTSD, depression and personality disorders, all of which involve researchers from multiple devices.
More than forty health professionals are involved in research in Region Zealand Mental Health Service.
